Working in partnership with Bath Rugby Foundation for longer

The Consortium is proud to extend our partnership with Bath Rugby Foundation for an additional two years; helping to support young people aged 9 and 10 through the successful Stickability literacy programme.

Working with Dorset County Council for longer

We are delighted to say our educational supplies contract with Dorset County Council has been extended! This means we are able to continue providing exceptional value on key stationery items and educational resources as well as cleaning and janitorial products to Dorset schools for longer.

It has come to our attention that a number of The Consortium branded 'handwriting pens' we supply have not been compliant with the required safety standard we would expect.
Staff jump for joy after completing charity skydive

Last weekend saw the final member of a group of team-spirited staff leap from a plane for The Consortium's nominated charity of the year, Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

We've had our contract extended!

We're pleased to announce that we've had our contract with the Welsh Purchasing Consortium extended until 31 March 2015. The contract covers the All Wales Arrangement for Educational and Curriculum Aids framework, which allows us to provide exceptional value for customers in Wales.

We're proud to have been the sponsor of the Headteacher of the Year Award and the Numeracy and Maths Award at this year's ceremony, which was held in London on Friday 4 July. The awards celebrate educational excellence within schools, with a focus on the ceaseless dedication offered by those who make a positive difference to the lives of young people.

Helping to support teaching abroad

Anne Purdon, a curriculum leader based at Norland College in Bath, recently appealed in the local press for donations for school supplies, and we were pleased to help!

The Consortium support local Science Ambassadors in their quest for answers!

The sun was shining and science was in the air on Saturday 17 May as pupils, parents and people from the wider community attended a Community Science Day held at The Mead Community Primary School in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

Through a recent food collection, employees at The Consortium donated a fantastic 80kg of food which helped to create four large family hampers for the Trowbridge Storehouse, as well as 65 Christmas 'Goody Bags' for the Warminster Foodbank - helping families and individuals in crisis through Christmas.
