The Consortium wins top supplier award for the second year running

The Consortium has been awarded Supplier of the Year for the second year running at the Education Resources Awards. As winner of the award in 2010, The Consortium was inspired to deliver even higher standards of quality, value and service to their customers.
The Education Resource Awards are supported by trade association, The British Educational Suppliers Association (BESA). Each category is judged by a panel of independent education experts including classroom teachers. On selecting a winner, the judging panel focus on the ways in which different suppliers provide effective resources, services and people to support schools.
The judges praised The Consortium for providing cost-effective solutions that are easy to access and simple to order, as well as delivering excellent customer service and a clear environmental policy for future sustainability.
Melanie Teal, Chief Executive commented: "We are delighted to have won the Supplier of the Year award again especially as we don’t believe anyone has ever won this award two years in a row before! It is a testament to the ongoing commitment and dedication all our staff have shown to provide quality products at great value with fabulous service to our customers."

In the current economic climate schools are looking for high quality and best value products; we certainly feel the winners meet these criteria."
